Ben Reed is our Director of Community Groups. One of the best decisions we have made, as a church is to take a chance on a young man who had no experience in this area, wasn’t yet finished with seminary, and wasn’t really looking for this type of position. If someone you know claims to be a Christian, yet doesn’t walk in obedience to God by loving others, one would have to question if the heart was ever truly changed.
Ultimately God’s call is on a person’s heart. He wants control of our complete heart. That’s true of every believer. For the one who is called to vocational ministry, however, God wants our dependence on Him for financial support.
Everything has changed. Now a person who senses a call to vocational ministry has a huge range of choices available.
Are you going through a difficult time?
Are you wondering when God will come through for you?
Are you curious what God is up to?
Does it seem like He’s sometimes nowhere to be found?
The phrase that caught my attention in this passage is “endless patience”. God has been so patient with me in so many ways. Even when I am impatient, He is patient.
