I was saddened, as many Americans were, to hear of Andy Griffith’s death yesterday. The show after his name is still one of my favorite. I’ve seen every episode enough times to complete the lines.
I read where Andy was buried only 5 hours after his death, at the wishes of the family. What I liked most about what I read was this statement by his wife:
“Andy was a person of incredibly strong Christian faith and was prepared for the day he would be called Home to his Lord,” Griffith’s wife, Cindi, said in a statement on Tuesday. (Source)
Andy was prepared to die.

A good friend who has a brain tumor isnt feeling sorry for himself. His comment was " no time for feeling sorry i need to see how many more i can get prepared to meet again in heaven before i go"……helped put it all into perspective. We should be seeing how many we can help be prepared and be a part of that great reunion!!

In conjunction with the party celebrating my arrival in heaven I request:
immediate cremation upon my death with my ashes divided between my children, just to see what they would do with them.
my celebration of life in a tent in my front yard. hamburgers and beverage of your choice, tee shirts and shorts optional.
my ipod playlist playing.
a 5k run, with a free t shirt.
give God the glory for His gifts!
