Dr. John David Laida, my childhood pastor and mentor, preached for me recently. He’s still preaching passionately most every Sunday. We were in a series on the family, so Brother Laida preached on the Christian home.

Just watched!! They so enjoyed being at your great Church Ron. Still talking about it. Im going home next weekend to hear Daddy preach at First Baptist, his last Sunday as interim pastor there. I have felt like a child again (went home in August to hear him) and it was like old times. He was running around talking (preaching) to himself and scurrying around back and forth to the church just like when I was growing up at home!! It warmed my heart and brought back memories of my wonderful life growing up with a Mom and Dad like no other!!! Thank you for continuing to support my precious man of God Daddy. You are really missed in Clarksville but know you are happy in that Wonderful fantastic church, as Momma referred to it! Love your posts and look forward to following you and your awesome ministry!!!
