Grandmother with grandson having fun at home - whispering secret

Sometimes it’s the little things.

A lazy Sunday afternoon nap after a great morning at church.

Picking raspberries in Michigan and “testing” them along the way.

Inside jokes with friends.

A song that brings back a nearly forgotten memory.

Sitting on a porch swing listening to a gentle rain.

Laughing as a puppy plays.

Discovering a “hidden gem” of a restaurant when not even looking.

Wrestling with a two year old boy.

Sharing a smile with someone you love.

Waking up at Grandma’s to the smell of fresh coffee and breakfast.

A small child whispering in your ear.

Saturday mornings with no agenda.

That’s 12 of mine. Add one, two or twelve of yours.

Take time today to reflect on the moments that make memories.

And don’t forget…

Sometimes it’s the little things.

Baby feet. A Life Verse (mine happens to be 2 Tim 1:7). Discovering new things about hubby that make me fall in love all over again. Honeysuckles. Good Christian movies. Ah I could go on and on!

All of those. Great!
Do you pick blueberries too? I remember doing that with my family sometimes in Michigan and we'd eat a few while picking too. I'd add biking through the country as another thing in life I love.

Yes. We love that area.
My wife genuinely laughing hysterically at one of my stupid jokes.

Gotta love that kind of wife. I've got one too.
Watching my 3-year old son run and play outside without a care in the world, and all I can muster is "thank you Jesus".

The smell of a campfire; a walk around the block with hubby; a genuine "thank you"; a family trip to the ice cream store; hugs :)

Feeling the kick of my yet-to-be-born baby. A moment of laughter with my wife.
