What does it mean to be adopted into the family of God? I believe learning this principle about our God relationship could change the way we live our entire life…
If you attend Grace Community Church and/or you follow our podcasts, you may need to listen to this message before you hear tomorrow’s message on prayer. I think they should go together as essential truths of our faith.

great post as usual!
Ron,
That message was awesome! I'll admit that there is hesitation on my part in my relationship with God. It's like going to Gradma's house and going into the "good" sitting room. You have to tip toe, don't touch anything, and get in and get out. You don't get to make youself at home there. When I was in high school I would go over to my best friends house everyday after school and eat their left overs from the night before. In fact I would walk in, set my bag down, open the fridge get me a drink, get Eric a drink, and then heat up my after school snack. His mom actually left it together and ready to heat up for me. I made myself at home. They didn't have to, but they did, I even called his mother "mom."
I never looked at my relationship with God like that. That thought is kind of like chocolate moose; it's light but will fill you up. Thanks for sharing!
That's a great illustration Mason. I have a feeling your friend's house is closer to an example of God's house…
