It was my night to cook. I was raised to cook from scratch. I don’t’ do details, so I never use recipes and therefore nothing is ever exactly the same. Tonight I tried something new. Sometimes my family likes my creations. Sometimes they don’t. Tonight they did.
Tonight I made hamburger pepper soup….or something like that.
Here’s the recipe:
Ground hamburger meat
Add chopped onions, red peppers and a can of green beans.
Add 1 package onion soup mix.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, garlic, cayenne pepper, and other various spices that sound good to you at the time.
Simmer until Cheryl gets home.
I also made Poor Man’s Cornbread:
Cornmeal
Salt
Sugar (just a little)
Boiling water.
Stir it until it looks right.
Fry in oil until really crisp.
Eat with butter.
I hope you enjoy it!
I NEVER thought I’d see a recipe on your blog….but it sounds great.
