I was reading the sixteenth verse in Psalm 104 recently and this phrase appeared to jump off the page at me.
The trees of the Lord flourish…
I was reminded:
Whatever the Lord touches…
Whatever God decides to do…
Wherever God places His stamp of approval…
Whatever God chooses to bless…
Whatever God builds…
Wherever God dwells…
Whatever God plants…
F L O U R I S H E S
God is God and there is no other.
Are you looking for success in life? Are you chasing a dream?

Yup! I believe more or less, almost everyone in this world chase a dream and look for success in life. But, the key to success lies in being spiritually grounded in our life. As Psalm 121 puts it, "My help comes from the Lord…. He will not let my foot slip … the sun will not harm by day nor the moon by night.. The Lord will keep me from all harm and he will watch over my life.." Praise the Lord. What a privilege I have in Him.

I've written and read quite a bit about the giant redwoods in California, and I've visited them a couple of times too. This devotion brought me back to the reflections that I've had in those experiences. I love the idea of the depth that we can reach as we live and move in God's will. So why did I instinctively click on this link today? What is the message to me? Chance? I think not. Thank you Ron. As a family we are praying for a new home. “Whatever God blesses…Wherever God places his stamp of approval”. We have to trust in his decision. And we will continue to reach, pray and listen.

What a great reminder to us all. There’s nothing that can stop God from His will being done! Why do we tend to forget this truth?
