I kept it to myself…
I never developed a plan…
I never took a step towards it…
I never took a risk…
I never walked by faith…
I never moved forward with my dream…
I only dreamed…
It was a great dream…
But, it’s not a dream anymore…
It’s simply a memory of a dream…

The one dream I have had that is non-ministry related is riding my bicycle cross country with friends. I wanted to do it before I turned 50. That was a no-go. I am now 58 and it seems even more of a no-go. I regret not taking the risk and time required. Ministry-related? Oh yeah. Many.

I've had those types of dreams before and typically it's because my parents or others said no to them and there was no way to make them real without help.
It is hard without someone to believe in you. I hope you are making new dreams!
