It’s hard to believe we are in the 32nd week of the year…isn’t it?
Here is this week’s memory verse:
“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14
Can I ask you a question?
What are you trying to handle on your own, and God would love for you to get out of the way, surrender to His will, and let Him handle?
I’d love to know you’re still out there reading these memory verses.
Are you?
Every New Year, instead of the proverbial "resolutions," Jesus puts a word in my soul and challenges me to grow in this word. This year it was "surrender". This scripture spoke to me around this new word. Thank you for taking the time to post it so long ago. It was just waiting for me to find it today.
That's a great idea!
This pastor needed this verse this morning….thank you Ron!
Amen. Praying for you.

Hi Ron! I’m still here and so very blessed for 32 weeks. I struggle with being still. My nature is to constantly be on the move, filling every moment because life is short. Combined with my heart of a fighter I feel I’m consistently wrestling with myself and with God to relent to those moments of stillness to renew me, to direct me, to give me peace. I’ve even gone so far as to tattoo Be Still and Know on my body just as a constant reminder I don’t have to be in control or fight every battle. God loves me and wants me to feel that love through his peace and stillness and calm.
I struggle with that too Carissa.
