I do agree with you here. The tongue is a very small organ in our body, but it plays a big role in ones life. It is what you say that keeps with you in every instinct of life. Thanks for sharing this here. Keep posting in future. laptop stickers

  • As I read this post, I reminded of the book of Proverbs. No author in this world has written better that King Solomon on this subject:

•“………… he who holds his tongue is wise.” ~ Proverbs 10:19b
•Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.” ~ Proverbs 12:18
    •“………… a kind word cheers him (a man) up.” ~ Proverbs 12:25b
•“A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” ~ Proverbs 15:1
•“A man finds joy in giving an apt reply— and how good is a timely word.” ~ Proverbs 15:23
•“…………….. pleasant words promote instruction.” ~ Proverbs 16:21b
•“Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” ~ Proverbs 16:24
•“A man of knowledge uses words with restraint” ~ Proverbs 17:27a
•“The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to a man’s inmost parts.” ~ Proverbs 18:8
•“A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.” ~ Proverbs 25:11

Watch my words here: Why do you wear cloths while preaching like a person who is going to Lowe's or Wal Mart? Of course Joel Osteen does were a suit? Which says, its not necessary the suit that is what you could do? What is your motive behind your dress the way you do? Why? Because I do follow your words often.
And I do have four children who live in Lexington, where I would like them to be in a good church.

I dress up for one service and in street clothes for the other. Why? Consider 1 Cor 919Though I am freeand belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone,to win as many as possible.20To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews.To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law),so as to win those under the law.21To those not having the law I became like one not having the law(though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law),so as to win those not having the law.22To the weak I became weak, to win the weak.I have become all things to all peopleso that by all possible means I might save some.23I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. When I dress like people going to Lowes or Wal Mart, it's to reach people who go to Lowes and Wal Mart. Thanks for your comment.

  • Ouch. Too true. The worst part is that my little words come out of the big mess that is my heart. Thank you!Needed it.

Amen brother! The tongue is a small member of the body but it can cause the greatest harm if used improperly(it's gotten me in trouble a few times myself). "Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit." Psalm 34:13
