7 thoughts on “Fear of Rejection: A Sermon

  1. The pain of rejection is one of the unbearable pains in our life. For some, it starts from the mother's womb (with the attempt to abortion). Then it follows till the death bed. Today, millions and millions of people suffer from the pain of rejection. Rejection in school by the teachers, rejection in locality by the neighbors, rejection by parents/siblings, rejection by peers, rejection by a lover, rejected by wife/husband, rejected by children, rejected by the employer, rejected at the interview, rejected by the people in elections, rejected by …. so on and so forth. The list goes on without any end.

But, praise the Lord! Our Savior is out there to receive us unconditionally. Psalmist David utters the same in Psalm 27:10 "Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me." Oh! What a privilege I have in Jesus! Hallelujah!
