Election Results Prediction

By October 19, 2012Culture, Encouragement

Call me a prophet, but I have the results.

Here’s what you may not have known.

You’ve seen the commercials. You’ve seen the debates.

But it was really only a one candidate race all along.

And only one vote was cast.

Here’s my prophecy.

The votes are in and I’m happy to report.

Jesus wins!

He is Lord! He is King!

He has risen. He’s alive. He’s the Victor!

No need to stress. Don’t be worried. It’s all under control.

The election results are in and Jesus wins!

For the literal reader: Maybe there were three candidates if you count the Trinity separately. But really the three are one… (But that’s another post.)

What election did you think I was referring to? Is there one more important than this?

Agreed Ron! That's why Jesus told “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” in John 16:33.

Election? Yes, everyday is an election when we belong to Jesus Christ. Every day we either choose to be called to HIM 1st, be in followship of HIM alone, serve His Kingdom or serve ours, ourselves and our way. We elect Jesus every day of our lives by how our choices vote and bring into play His Kingdom. November 6th I will serve Jesus Christ, I will live for HIM, I will make choices based on His Word, His Will, His Way, just like I do every single day. Jesus is in charge, He has been in charge and He will be in charge. His Kingdom purposes are in play. We may think we decide, but HE has already decided. Cling to HIM; dig your roots deeply in His Kingdom. 2012 was a year for me to develop a “completely”, to become ALL-In and elect and select Jesus Christ with every thought, motive, word and action and 2013 is going to be a year for me to develop a “Kingdom Perspective” that continually trumps my earthly one, with God hope in my amazing future in Christ Jesus! Election! Yes, I choose Christ! I choose His Kingdom. I will live out my selection and my perspective will be a Kingdom one! Today, Tomorrow and because of Jesus… Forever!
