7 Obstacles to Progress

By April 19, 2011April 20th, 2011Funny, Leadership

Life’s not fair sometimes…is it?

Progress at any cost just isn’t available these days. Thanks to people and their set of values, playing by the rules has become a necessity…at least according to some. You may be able to fool people for a while, but you have to be transparent, authentic and genuine to be seen as a good leader these days.

What’s the world coming to?

So many things get in the way of attaining “real” progress and success.

Here are 7 examples that come to mind:

Ethics – If you didn’t have to be ethical in your decisions…

Time – If the right timing wasn’t a factor…

People – If people weren’t in the equation…

Money – If honest handling of money wasn’t an issue…

Vision – If you didn’t have to hold firm to a vision…

Character – If character didn’t count…

Equality – If no one cared about equality…

You get the idea. Too many obstacles to success at any cost these days…

What else gets in the way of progress?

(I shouldn’t have to, but some of you know I do…This post is written as sarcasm….)
