“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 2 Kings 6;16 NIV

God is bigger than any obstacle in your way today!

There, I have said my point for the this post.

Small children put great faith in their fathers (and mothers). When my youngest son was only a few years old, I remember hearing him brag to one of his friends about what I could do. I didn’t correct him, but he was far over-selling my abilities. He believed, however, that I was fully capable of handling all of his problems.(He’s since learned how limited I am!)

Jesus said we are to come to Him with the mind of a child. The good news here is that you can brag about the abilities of your Heavenly Father. He is God! What more needs to be said? He created the tallest mountain, the fluffiest cloud, the sweetest apple, the highest wave, the fastest horses…and He created you! He shaped the trunk of an elephant and painted the spots on a ladybug. He is the designer and orchestrator of everything in the Universe! He has more power in a single word, than a 10,000 armies have in all their armaments.

Let me ask you a very serious question today? Can He take care of your needs today? Is there anything for which you could use His help?

Call on Him, right now!

And, feel free to brag on your Daddy today! He’s bigger! He’s stronger!

He’s God! And He’s the best!

(Bonus to this post: Name one pare of God’s creation that causes you to gasp! Don’t be afraid to think small.)

Yes, He is bigger than I can imagine and is bigger than all my problems. The issue, as a human, is that I can't see that big and that is frustrating. I think that's where we as people fail to trust. I know that he can heal randleman's dad's cancer completely; but will He? Should He? What is the plan?

I know that He can heal my marriage, I want Him to, Scripture would lead me to believe that He will. But in my limited vision, I can't see the plan, so that leads to some level of not trusting or not having the faith that I should. I get frustrated when I see no motion in that direction; God says to wait; but for what?

I am too small to appreciate all that He can do. Perhaps someday I'll understand.

I mentioned on a pevious post that my dad has cancer, in the brain and several other organs.

God IS big! Dad had a dr appointment last week. The doctor actually used the words, "I can't explain this…" ( I though those words were an urban legend… 🙂 ). Dad's tumors are shrinking as much as 85%! And thedoctor didn't know why. Dad replied, "I think I know why."

God IS big! Thanks for the prayers!

I honestly thought you were going to say "God is bigger than the boogie man" but that was nowhere in this post so had to mention that I thought that. Thank you also for the reminder that God is bigger than any obstacle or anything that I'm facing, I'm glad that he is holding the whole world in his hands.

  • I stand in awe of the complexity of the single celled animals with parts that go down to the molecular level. Our Creator is into the details NOT the devil.

I am amazed at snowflakes ….the millions of snowflakes that fall from the sky, and god created each one different!! That is so awesome.

Did you know that the jumping spider has a cute little face? Like a stuffed animal. My kids showed my some pictures the other day, and my thought was, that’s so amazing that God would bother to give a little spider a cute fuzzy face…
