There is something special about knowing people are praying for you. Cheryl received a text from someone recently wanting to know if we were okay. This sweet prayer warrior had been woken at 4:30 AM that morning with an overwhelming sense that we needed prayer. It was the same morning we received the news that my father had passed away unexpectedly. What an awesome encouragement!

If this is the sweet prayer warrior I think it is who was woken that day, she is an amazing person! She has faith that can move mountains and her relationship with Jesus is key for her! I am so blessed to have her in my life and knowing that she prays for us and those God calls her to pray for is such a comfort! I definitely appreciate knowing when someone is praying for us. Also, when you ask for prayers, you know she will do it! I praise God for how He uses people to reach others and the peace He provides through them. He is incredible! And, so is my mom š
Its a wonderful, warm feeling to know that someone is praying for you. It makes those difficult times easier knowing that someone cares enough about you to pray for you. I know that my parents pray for myself & my children continually. As a single mom, I pray for other single parents I know because I know how hard a job that is.

Who doesn't appreciate knowing someone is praying for them? : ) I love when someone tells me that they've been praying for me (and I know that they have been). I know that my parents pray faithfully for me – I am so blessed to have parents who love and trust God and trust me to His care. I'm praying for my best friend who has stuggled for years with miscarraiges and who is once again a few weeks' pregnant (IVF).
My grandmother was one of those people who had an actual prayer list and prayed through it every week. I want to have that discipline and that love for others. I'm not there yet, but I have stopped telling people that I'll pray for them when they tell me about something going on in their lives. Instead, I pray for them (and occasionally with them) immediately. Doing that completely eliminates the possibility that I'll move on with my day and never get around to praying for them.

Yes absolutely, my father in law sends us an email each day generally of what he has prayed for us that day…
That’s awesome. I may keep that idea as my boys get married.
Ron, I so appriciate it when people are praying for me. On Friday when you told me that you were paraying for me meant so much to me. I really appriciate it. Thank You. I do have at least two people that pray for me weekly. I know for sure that a wonderful lady prays for me on Friday's. There have been so many times that I have thought, I can get thru today because I know that I have been prayed for sometime this morning. Wow to have a prayer warrior that God wakes up to pray for you is an awesome thing. I would love to be that kind of prayer warrior for others.
Prayer request: I want so much more of GOD and so much less of me. I want to become that kind of prayer warrior if that is what GOD wants.
